The Water Chemistry Society of the Society of German Water Chemistry (GDCh) promotes the participation of young scientists in selected Conferences or workshops (e.g. Annual Conference WASSER) by awarding travel grants.

Framework conditions:

• Target group: Students during their Master's thesis, doctoral students
• Requirement: Active participation in the event, i.e. oral or poster presentation
• Awarding mode: "first come, first serve"
• All scholarship holders are requested to mention the sponsorship by the GDCh Division of Water Chemistry in their presentation or on their poster.

The Society of Water Chemistry awards a limited number of conference scholarships of a maximum of 250 euros each to students during their master's thesis or doctorate for active participation in the WATER 2026, which will take place from 11. Applications can be submitted by email to Maike Fries (GDCh Office) with the keyword "WASSER 2026 conference scholarship" up to three weeks before the start of the event.
