Symposia "...yes - but how?"

In 2019, we launched a new topical symposium series with a focus on society. We are focussing on the contributions that chemistry can and must make to solving the relevant problems, e.g. environmental protection, climate change, energy, crop protection, genetic engineering or plastic waste: Environmental protection, climate change, energy, crop protection, genetic engineering or plastic waste. The initiator of the symposium is Klaus-Peter Jäckel.
The symposia are also aimed at the general public. The speakers are competent natural scientists, representatives of industry, economics and Business Administration and -- where possible -- also politicians.
The venue is the Max Buchner Hall at DECHEMA in Frankfurt:
