2016 Münster

In 2016, we built on the success of the annual SEC meetings. The venue was the historic university city of Münster. The large physics lecture theatre HS 1 at Wilhelm-Klemm-Str. 9 was available for our Conferences. The annual meeting took place from:
18 - 20 May 2016
In 2016, the focus was once again on high-calibre lectures that are particularly relevant to senior chemists and present the latest developments in an understandable way (see "Lectures" below). In Münster, we placed particular emphasis on the involvement of young chemists, especially in the form of posters.
In Münster, we also invited senior citizens to present their "retirement" activities of all kinds in the form of posters. We had a good experience with this in Braunschweig; there were often lively discussions in front of the posters, and participants were able to take many ideas home with them.
Link to the official conference page of the GDCh with registration and submission of contributions and posters. Flyer of the Conferences for download.
A detailed report has been published in the 'Nachrichten': Nachr. Chem. 2016, 64, 923.
