The FiMC is the international, annual conference series of the GDCh Division of Medicinal Chemistry. FiMC is aimed at anyone in industry and academia with an interest in medicinal chemistry, chemical biology and related topics.
Frontiers in Medicinal Chemistry & more information
Since 2022, all poster awardees of Frontiers in Medicinal Chemistry are invited to a job shadowing event. The event gives young scientists an insight into the day-to-day work of medicinal chemists in industry.

Since 2023 the Division has been organising the MedChemCampus together with the Tübingen Center for Academic Drug Discovery (TüCAD2). The target group is doctoral students, postdocs and young professionals. Case studies on current challenges in medicinal chemistry will be presented and discussed.

MedChemCASES is an online seminar series launched in 2020 by the GDCh Division of Medicinal Chemistry, in which case studies from industry and the academic research landscape are presented.

The Division's workshops open up forums for interaction. Researchers from industry and academia use the workshops to exchange experiences and discuss future challenges and current topics in the field of medicinal chemistry and drug discovery.
