In the nationwide ranking of the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE) for the "Zeit-Campus" study guide 2019/2020, Esslingen University of Applied Sciences achieved excellent results in several university courses. The Faculty of Natural Sciences achieved very good results with the Bachelor's degree programme - Chemical Engineering/Paint and Coating. Of the 26 universities that offer a Bachelor's degree programme in Chemical Engineering in Germany, 18 took part in the CHE ranking. The students from Esslingen rated the general study situation, the study organisation, the career orientation offers and cooperation with practice as very good. As a result, Esslingen achieved the best rating among universities of applied sciences nationwide for its Chemical Engineering/Paint and Coatings course. The CHE ranking is the most comprehensive and detailed ranking in the German-speaking world. The CHE has analysed more than 300 universities and universities of applied sciences. In addition to facts about studying, teaching and research, the ranking includes students' judgements on the study conditions at their university.
