Review of the Young Talent Forum
A big thank you to all 17 participants from different locations - from Bielefeld to Göttingen to Austria! - who met on 24 March 2026 for the first Young Researchers' Forum of the German Society for Chemistry Education (DiCE). A wonderful mix of curiosity, experience and a common goal: to help shape the future of chemistry didactics - together, networked, young talent-orientated.
What was going on?
After warm welcomes and personal introductions, we went straight into the future:
Writing weekend: 8-10 May 2026 in Bielefeld - time for ideas, texts and exchange among like-minded people.
Social Hour: 15 May & 5 October 2026 | 2 - 3 pm - small breaks, big conversations.
Newcomer meeting at the FGCU Annual Conference: 23 September 2026 in Göttingen - a highlight we already can't wait for!
The discussions were deep, honest and inspiring:
Our goal?
We collect your tips, tricks and experiences - on publishing, funding, research practice - and make them available on our AG Wissenschaflticher -Nachwuchs-Homepage. Your voice counts and your experience is valuable.
We are more than just doctoral students, postdocs and junior professors. We are a community that researches, networks, supports and develops chemistry didactics together.
