The Chemie Ingenieur Technik is (with the practical magazine CITplus) the most important German-language trade journal for process engineering, technical chemistry, chemical apparatus engineering and biotechnology. Founded in 1928, this GDCh journal is now published jointly with DECHEMA and the Gesellschaft für Verfahrenstechnik und Chemieingenieuwesen im VDI (GVC).
Parallel to CIT, CITplus is published as a practical magazine for users. Both journals are solely owned by the GDCh.
