The focus of the courses is on securing and continuing a business and addresses all persons interested in the topic among other things. In addition to the perennial favourites of marketing, advertising, customer acquisition and sales topics such as cost control, company presentation and others are also offered.

The workshops for the self-employed have evolved from the "Forum for the Self-Employed", which in turn emerged from a series of events under the title "Business Start-up Forum". The topics were initially very specific to chemists who were either planning to become self-employed or had recently become self-employed.
