The Patent Law Section regularly organises events that deal with topics and developments in the field of patent law. These events serve to exchange expertise and current findings by shedding light on relevant issues in a constantly changing legal environment. Particular emphasis is placed on the impact of new technologies and international developments in order to discuss both legal challenges and opportunities for scientists, companies and start-ups. The section thus contributes to deepening the understanding of patent law and intellectual property in chemistry and its related fields.
