Scholarship programme of the GDCh Sustainable Chemistry Division

The Sustainable Chemistry Division of the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh) promotes the participation of junior scientists in selected conferences, seminars or workshops by awarding travel grants.

Framework conditions:

  • Target group: Students during their Bachelor's and Master's theses, doctoral students
  • Prerequisite: Active participation in the event, i.e. lecture or poster presentation
  • All scholarship holders are requested to mention the funding from the GDCh Sustainable Chemistry Division in their lecture or on their poster.

There are currently no scholarships available.

Sustainable Chemistry 2024 specialist group conference (12/13 September 2024; Mülheim a.d. Ruhr)

The Division is offering a limited number of travel grants of up to 300 euros each for active participation (poster/presentation) at the Division Conference on Sustainable Chemistry 2024 . Scholarships can be applied for up to three weeks before the start of the conference by e-mail to Maike Fries (GDCh office) under the keyword "Conference Scholarship Sustainable Chemistry 2024". The complete documents include the following documents:

  • Completed Application form,
  • Confirmation of acceptance of the conference contribution (poster/presentation),
  • Proof of registration for the conference.
