Scholarship programme of the Liebig Association for Organic Chemistry

The Liebig Association for Organic Chemistry offers partial scholarships to young scientists for active participation (short presentation/poster) at selected conferences.

Travel grants for Gordon Conferences

The Liebig Association for Organic Chemistry is offering travel grants of a maximum of 2000 euros each for participation in Gordon Conferences 2026 with an organic chemistry focus. The target group is exclusively doctoral students with their own oral or poster presentations.

Applications must be submitted by 13 April 2026 by e-mail to the GDCh office under the keyword "Liebig@Gordon". The complete application contains the following documents summarised as a PDF document:

- Completed application form
- short recommendation from the supervisor(s) (max. 1 page)
- Curriculum vitae with list of publications
- Abstract of the conference contribution
- Confirmation of acceptance of the conference contribution (can be submitted later)
- Proof of registration for the conference (can be submitted later)

Travel grants for Gordon Conferences 2025

The Liebig Association for Organic Chemistry and the German Chemical Society are offering travel grants of up to €2000 each for participation in Gordon Conferences 2025 with organic chemistry relevance
