The Supramolecular Chemistry Working Group of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) awards up to two prizes in memory of Professor Carsten Schmuck (1968-2019) for outstanding doctoral theses in the field of supramolecular chemistry completed at research institutions in Germany. Each award comes with an award certificate and prize money of 500 euros donated by the Schmuck family. The SupraChem PhD Award is usually presented every two years as part of the SupraChem conference series. The awarding of the prize is decided by a prize committee appointed by the board of the working group.
