Are you going to write an article for Chemistry News? Then be sure to read the author's notes. These will help you to write a text specifically for the "Nachrichten" target group, making your work and that of the editorial team easier.
For conference reports, the author guidelines for conference reports apply.

Presentations that are sent to the editors after the deadline for the respective issue of Nachrichten aus der Chemie has passed may still be printed (provided there is still space in the issue in question and production is not yet too far advanced), but there is no guarantee. Such last-minute lecture registrations should also be sent to the NCh editorial team (nachrichten@gdch.de) in parallel to the entry in the database, as the template for the lecture list in the News is created once by querying the database on the deadline date for the respective issue (the query period depends on the amount of data and publication/dispatch date of the issues).
