The Klaus Grohe Award for Medicinal Chemistry was established to support young scientists at European research institutions. The prize money amounts to 25,000 euros and may only be used for research purposes, in particular to finance personnel costs.
Funding can be awarded to early career researchers who are currently leading an independent research group or who took up a W2 professorship in Germany or an equivalent position in Europe less than 12 months ago. To be eligible for funding, applications must come from the fields of medicinal chemistry or drug research.
