The annual meeting of chemists in the public sector serves to exchange experiences and expertise among chemists from government monitoring offices, environmental authorities and other institutions such as fire brigades and customs offices. The event focuses on the diverse range of activities, including research, laboratory work and monitoring. The aim is, for example, to promote the specific professional interests of the participants and to strengthen their influence in the areas of labour, environmental and consumer protection
